Tropical Haven with amazing friendly staff

This is my second time returning to Ban Sanai. It’s such a wonderful, tropical location a short tuk tuk ride to Ao Nang beach and a great base to explore the islands. The staff are so lovely and friendly and kind and really make sure you have everything for your stay. The Pool is one of the most beautiful pools I’ve been in overlooking lush palm trees and the beautiful rocks of Krabi. All in all it’s a lovely quiet haven away from the touristy noisy part of Ao Nang but close enough to enjoy everything

The lighting in the room was a little dim for us and could have been brighter but this is just a personal preference

Perfect for an affordable taste of tranquility with a touch of elegance!

Very friendly and happy staff, super clean and beautiful vistas all around you. Breakfast was good. The rooms are quiet and tucked away from the hustle of the main road in town. Everything that could be done to make your stay perfect was actioned and the pool area is lovely to unwind.

At times there were kids around the pool, making it hard to nap in the afternoon. Adults only would be ideal here!

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff - an oasis of tranquillity,

We loved our stay here, it was a calm peaceful oasis away from the busy Ao nang centre. Free Shuttle taxi into Ao nang was good we used it a few times. Rooms lovely, little bungalow/chalets set in beautiful tropical gardens. Pool fabulous, staff so friendly and helpful with any queries we had. Hotel doesn’t serve alcohol but not a problem for us, fridge in room so you can buy your own drinks. Enough local eating places within 10 mins walk from hotel so you don’t always need to go into Ao nang centre. Hotel only serves breakfast (which was gorgeous) and you can order lunch but not dinner in the evening.

Our only issue and it wouldn’t stop us returning but was a bit frustrating was that the water pressure in the shower was poor. Our room had a lovely big round bath tub but it took forever to fill - only attempted that once!

Wonderful relaxing stay would visit again

The location was excellent for us. It’s out of the main part of Ao Nang so peaceful and quiet. But a short ride or walk to the beach area if you wanted. A few very good restaurants on the nearby road if you don’t want to go far. Cottage excellent and comfortable. pool area was gorgeous with nice bar serving non alcoholic drinks (iced lattes superb especially) Breakfast great and lovely setting too. Staff so friendly and helpful. The jungle setting is magnificent.

We honeymooned here and loved everything about it. The staff were wonderful. The location was just off the beaten path. The only thing we didn't like.... was having to leave!

Very Good

Very friendly staff. Gym was small and functional. Beautiful pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. Great breakfast, limited variety but you could have as much as you want and very tasty. Great cottages, spacious with comfortable beds. Overall worth every penny.

Everything was great. Beware of the mosquitoes.

What was the highlight of Ban Sainai Resort

Awesome

Ban Sainai was a lovely surprise. As a frequent traveler to Bali, the resort has modeled itself very well on Balinese style rooms and layout, with grass thatched roofs, beautiful gardens and lots of timber detailing. Rooms and decks were very spacious and comfortable. Electric buggies are available to carry around people like me with mobility problems. The pool is fantastic, sitting below a huge limestone cliff. The breakfasts were excellent, served in a restaurant on a lake. Although right in the middle of Ao Nang, we felt like we were in a jungle setting, with lots of entertainment from animals in and around the resort. Fantastic value for money, especially during Covid times. One of our very favourite Krabi resorts.

Only a few small things bothered us, nothing worth mentioning in detail. Covered parking was available, but very limited.

The setting is beautiful, probably the nicest in the area. Staff were wonderful and polite, Kong made the extra effort to make sure we were happy everyday.

Would have been useful to have had more shuttle times available to and from Ao Nang

In the jungle

A bit away from the beach, but that was what we were looking for as Ao Nang beach is not really a good beach to swim. Room was big, got the Jungle feeling, quiet, clean. We enjoyed the large pool with the cliff view. Breakfast was ok, first day buffet, next day a la carte as only a few bungalows were occupied.

I liked the place as it was. Maybe the bathroom could use a bit of remodeling, an adjustable shower would be nice.

Spent 4 weeks travelling around South Thailand, this was by far the best stay we had

- The resort was stunning - Staff very professional and organised - The gardens were immaculately kept and beautiful - Incredible infinity pool at the base of karst cliff faces - Excellent breakfast made to order - HUGE balcony, bigger than some rooms we stayed elsewhere

- No alcohol sold in the resort, but they are OK with you to bring it in from outside - Rooms getting a little old, particularly the big windows in the bathroom - Room service menu quite limited compared to the restaurant menu
